Delhi government to run 1000 new AC buses on PPP model

To boost up the city’s public transport system now the Delhi Government is all set to launch and introduce new 1000 air conditioned low floor bus service on the roads of Delhi under the PPP model that is Public Private partnership. According to this new proposal this would be tabled in the cabinet soon this month. Government will be running new 1000 air conditioned buses to enhance the delhi transport system as told by Gopal Rai who is the transport minister.

The AAp government is fully augmented to provide public transport to as many people as hey can so as to curb away the hassle that they might face in order of further odd and even plan. The government decided to opt for the PPP model as DTC could not buy buses despite floating tenders two-three times as bus manufacturers did not show interest due to some conditions in the tenders.
