Question 1.) Please tell us about your company and your journey in India so far ?
Nexcomm is into distribution of electronic components, both franchise & sourcing of non franshise products, later half started design and development of standard products which we sell under own group company brand and also do customised designs
Wow it has been a great journey starting with three people, one office and now fifty one people with six offices in eleven years .
Question 2.) There are many distributors in the Indian market, what sets you apart from your competitors ?
Every distributor has their own philosophy of doing business driven by their Corporate/HQ and everyone has their own strengths, we need to understand this and promote it within the organisation to get good results.
Question 3.) How do you make sure that the customers are satisfied and convert them to repeat customers ?
to answer in simple terms, every business today is service industry and there are two main factors by way of customer coming back to you again and again, Communication and Service
Question 4.) What are your thoughts on the steps the Indian government is taking to boost the semiconductor fabrication industry in India, and what do you think are the potential impacts on the country’s economy ?
Next few decades is the right time, the government policies are favouring the industry, we need to take advantage of this now and do the necessary things, we have seen manufacturing services has increased tremendously, local semiconductor buying increased substantially for everyone, this is very good sign. Semiconductor is the base of every technology now and Government is coming up with schemes to have own IP. Still lot of work to do but I must say we are on the right track.
Question 5.) Kindly elaborate on your strategy for 2025-26 ?
As mentioned earlier,
1) Sync in the company philosophy to all the team
2) Have a clear focus on your strengths and build upon it, do not try to do everything
3) build the middle level management as when business grows you need right people to lead the business
