Driver James Davison to Take Over Driving Duties from Injured Sebastien Bourdais
Team Mouser is busy gearing up for the biggest IndyCar race of the season, the Indianapolis 500 on May 28. Qualifying for the 101st running of the famed Indianapolis 500 took place May 20–21. Australian driver James Davison will take the wheel of the Mouser- and Molex-sponsored IndyCar at this weekend’s Indy 500 after championship driver Sebastien Bourdais was injured on the third lap of his qualification attempt on Saturday. Bourdais, suffering multiple fractures to the pelvis and a broken right hip, underwent successful surgery for his injuries on Saturday evening. Bourdais won the opening race of the season, the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 12.
