Automotive sensor fusion and multi-band receiver
The ZED-F9K module is built on the u-blox F9 multi-band GNSS platform and includes a fusion of integrated inertial measurement unit sensor data, GNSS measurements, wheel ticks, and vehicle dynamics modeling to provide lane accurate positioning where GNSS alone would fail.
The technology presents a tenfold increase in performance in highway environments compared to existing standard precision technology. The ZED-F9K provides lane accurate positions under open-sky motorways, in the wooded countryside, in difficult urban environments, and even in tunnels and underground parking situations. In open environments the technology delivers accuracy down to the decimeter-level.
Engineering samples will be available in July 2019, and full production will start in September 2019.
Join us at TU-Automotive in Detroit, USA from June 4th to 6th at booth number B90.
