Techmezine: Kindly share about Anritsu’s journey in India so far, what have been the key achievements?
Madhukar: Anritsu has been in Indian market since long. In order to serve our customers, we have enhanced our reach by appointing new channel partners to cover market segment we address such as telecom, broadcast, automotive, mobile phone R&D and production, education, aerospace and defence,Satellite, Test Houses/labs etc.
Today we have more than 175 headcounts on payroll under Anritsu India umbrella. We have more than 10 channel partners to cover PAN India customer base. Anritsu India Pvt Ltd have repair and calibration centres at Bangalore and Noida. Anritsu India staff and channel partners are trained regularly to keep pace with industry.
We work closely with our customer to provide them cost effective test and measurement solutions for today and tomorrow. We participate in key industry programs which provide us opportunity to showcase our leading- state of art test and measurement solutions.
Anritsu will continue to play its role as trusted T&M partner in India and provide cost-effective solutions for emerging technologies such as NTN, Red Cap and so on.
Techmezine: What are the products you have showcased at IMC this year ?
Madhukar : We Anritsu India Pvt Ltd have displayed wide range of telecom test and measurement solutions here in IMC24. These products covered R&D, production and field testing. These instrument cover device testing to networks testing.
The Wireless Connectivity Test Set MT8862A is for measuring the RF TRx characteristics of WLAN IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac equipment. Measure RF performance under actual operating conditions for quality assurance of diverse and complex devices. Ideal for RF measurements at product development and design validation.
The Bluetooth Test Set MT8852B,is the market leading RF measuring instrument for design, providing production test for a wide range of products that integrate Bluetooth® technology. It supports Basic Rate (BR), Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) and Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) measurements of transmit power, frequency, modulation, and receiver sensitivity required by Bluetooth RF test specifications.
This is used by many wearable devices such as TWS, Smartwatch, health bands etc manufacturers in India and worldwide.
The Universal Wireless Test Set MT8870A supports various wireless communications standards such as including 5G NR Sub-6 GHz, LTE/LTE-Advanced, LTE-V2X, NB-IoT, Cat-M, V2X 802.11p, WLAN and Bluetooth for testing on mass-production lines for smartphones, automotive and IoT terminals and communications modules.
The MG3710A is a vector signal generator with 6-GHz upper frequency limit and 120-MHz wide RF modulation baseband generator. It outputs various radio systems signals for cellular communications, such as LTE FDD/TDD, W-CDMA, GSM as well as narrowband communications, such as WLAN, WiMAX, Bluetooth and GPS.
Field Master MS2080A is newly launched Spectrum Analyser with 5G base Station parameters measurement capability with traditional spectrum measurement functions.
Shockline VNA MS46524B is 4 port Vector Network Analyser(VNA)which is very well accepted in R&D and production testing of various RF MW components be it 2 port and 4 port devices.
Remote Spectrum Monitor MS27102A is idea for RF Spectrum Monitoring and can be placed outdoor and very useful tool for QA, Audit, Regulators professionals.
These instruments are being used by many academic institutions and telecom companies in India and worldwide.
Techmezine: Could you tell us more about the Universal Wireless Test Set MT8870A ?
Madhukar : The Universal Wireless Test Set MT8870A supports various wireless communications standards, including 5G NR Sub-6 GHz, LTE/LTE-Advanced, LTE-V2X, NB-IoT, Cat-M, V2X 802.11p, WLAN and Bluetooth for testing on mass-production lines for smartphones, automotive and IoT terminals and communications modules.
Three types of MU887000A/MU887001A/MU887002A TRx test modules can be installed in the MT8870A main unit, each having a built-in vector signal generator and vector signal analyzer for Tx and Rx tests of mobile terminals and communications modules.
The Universal Wireless Test Set MT8870A is being used in India by many mobile phone production companies.
Techmezine : Please throw some light on the Network Master Pro MT1000A ?
Madhukar : Network Master Pro MT1000A is basically 100G Ethernet Analyser in modular & portable form factor. MT1000A is the All-in-One field test equipment of B5 size excellent in expand ability and operability, combined 10G / 100G Ethernet, OTN, SONET/SDH, OTDR, PTP and CPRI modules, having the automating testing function known as SEEK- Scenario Environment Editor Kit. This saves time in testing and is automating tool. Overall test time is improved, and efficiency is increased too. MT1000A finds applications in 5G technologies too.Network Master Pro MT1000A is an ideal installation and maintenance tool for System Integrators and Mobile Network Operator. Network Master Pro MT1000A is also used in R&D due to its cost effectiveness and multi-protocol support.
Techmezine : What are the plans for 2025 ?
Madhukar: We at Anritsu India Pvt Ltd are committed by better customer services and will enhance our presence in various markets by adding more channel partners, recruiting more engineering personals for pre sales and post-sales support. We plan to participate in key industry programs and remain visible to our customers. For naming one, we are really excited to participate in All About Electronics India Expo in April 2025.
