Techmezine had the pleasure of interacting with Mr. Rajiv Batra, President, Rabyte at Electronica 2024 on Rabyte’s journey and growth.
Techmezine: Can you share Rabyte’s journey so far? What have been the key milestones and achievements?
Rabyte: Our journey began about 35 years ago, with a core focus on the TV and Audio-Visual Industry. Over time, we have diversified our offerings to cover almost the entire electronics sector, serving industries such as Automotive, Industrial, Consumer, ICT, and Defence. Today, we have proud to be recognized as one of India’s leading electronics distribution companies, with a dedicated Centre of Excellence that supports Research and Development (R&D) services. We pride ourselves on our ability to work hand-in-hand with our customers throughout the R&D process.
One of our major achievements has been the opening the office in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and China, development of in-house designs that cater to the Automotive, Industrial, and ICT sectors. We have successfully delivered that integrate innovative products across these domains. Our R&D team’s strength lies in providing complete solutions, from design to component supply, ensuring our customers have everything they need with precise timeline. In terms of growth, acquiring large customers in the Automotive and Industrial sectors has been a key factor in our success so far.
Techmezine: What’s the secret behind Rabyte’s growth and overall sales success?
Rabyte: The secret to our growth is a blend of focus, a dedicated team, and our strength in R&D. We take a customer-centric approach, ensuring that we meet their needs with timeline. Our growth also stems from meticulous planning and a robust supply chain management (SCM) strategy. At the end of the day, what truly sets us apart is our commitment to customer service. Consistency, focus, and the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and technology demand have been the pillars of our sustained success.
Techmezine: Tell us more about the Mobility Solutions you’ve showcased at your booth.
Rabyte: We have been actively collaborating with automotive manufacturers, designing and developing solutions tailored to their evolving needs. At our booth, we showcased an example of our work in electric two-wheelers (EVs), but this is just a glimpse of what we offer. Our solutions extend to four-wheelers, both for EVs and conventional fuel vehicles. Robotics both Industrial and Consumer and Drones. Among the mobility solutions we presented were a BLDC Motor Solution, Light Control Units, DC-DC converters, Sound Generators, Battery Management Systems, Cluster Solutions, and lighting components. These solutions demonstrate our capability to provide a comprehensive range of electronics for the automotive sector propelled by conventional and alternative energy sources.
Techmezine: What about the IoT Solutions you’ve displayed?
Rabyte: For Electronica 2024, our theme was Green Energy, Mobility, and IoT. We exhibited a variety of solutions and components that cater to these important sectors. Our display included Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Single Board Computers (SBC), Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), BLDC solutions, and AI-powered devices. In the Green Energy segment, we highlighted batteries, cluster solutions, and other essential components. We also showcased a range of offerings for the ICT and IoT industries, from capacitors to modules, along with custom in-house designs for connected technology. Our objective was to demonstrate how our products align with upcoming trends in energy and IoT, enabling businesses to capitalize on these fast-evolving markets.
