Techmezine: Could you explain Transfer Multisort Elektronik Company ?
TME is a family company that was created in 1990 in Poland. It evolved from a small shop that offered electronic components for service and small production purposes.
After two years, TME prepared its first catalogue and started innovative, for that time, mail-order sale of components. Along with the development of Polish economy and economies of other Central and Eastern Europan countries, TME has gained new customers and introduced new product groups to its offer.
In 1997, company’s present seat was built. It constitutes a modern logistic centre with a warehouse that, since that time, has already been developed several times. With the lapse of time, TME has introduced online shopping and the standard of its service has been confirmed by ISO 9001:2009 and 14001:2005.
Currently, Transfer Multisort Elektronik is one of the biggest global distributors of electronic, electromechanical, industrial automatic components as well as workplace equipment. The company employs more than 800 employees in its headquarters in Poland and subsidiaries in other countries.
TME supplies several dozen thousands of companies in 140 countries and sends 5000 packages a day. Among 250.000 products in our offer, you will find goods manufactured by the majority of significant electronic components producers.
Techmezine : How does TME build the brand in APAC ?
TME opens up to the Asian market by establishing new offices, including the one in China. We employ qualified specialists who are responsible for sales on this market. In addition, in order to increase brand awareness, we run the TME Education programme, which broadens the general knowledge of electronics and prepares students for the profession of engineer in places where access to knowledge is limited.
Techmezine :What’s your plan to build brands in INDIA ?
Mostly Marketing (Magazines, Web, mailings) as much as possible, other than this meeting with customer during exhibitions and personal meetings. As TME motive is “First choice distributor” so we are trying to reach from Small business to large business groups, manufacturing industries, educational departments, health care industries. The Idea is to let people remember the brand TME.
Techmezine : What’s a key marketing activity your company undertakes in India ?
TME strives to be a part of the electronics industry in India. We participate in important events related to the industry, including fairs and exhibitions. Our expert publications are featured online and in all major press titles. We are in continuous contact with our current and potential customers as we send online newsletters with our news and price discounts. We also take part in both Indian and global rankings, which helps us strengthen our brand awareness.
