It is for new customers of Jazz, City and CR-V at an introductory price of Rs 2,999. The company said this price will be applicable for first 20,000 units.
The Service features enable a Honda owner to get push notifications about their vehicle’s maintenance, and get updates on new products and campaigns being offered by the company. Also the users can give feedback directly to the company.
“We are happy to bring Honda Connect to our customers at the 20 year of operations in India. The app will help our customers by giving them better safety, security and convenience,” said Katsushi Inoue, President & CEO of Honda Cars India.
In the event that the customers find themselves in an unpleasant situation, the Manual SOS feature, in just a simple click, will let the friends and family know their location.
The app also facilitates nearest Honda dealer search and nearest fuel Station search on a real time basis with navigation assistance anywhere and anytime in country.
Some other features include Insurance and PUC renewal reminders, allows customers to keep important document photos related to their car, and even records information as when the vehicle is refueled and shows fuel economy figures.
Inoue further added, “Today technology has become an integrated part of our lives. The development of Honda Connect is part of our mission to create innovations that best suit our customers’ digital-based life styles. This platform offers a value added communications channel that bonds Honda even more closely with our customers”.
The app has been jointly developed with UNO Minda Corporation and Minda iConnect.
