Mercedes Benz has recently launched its new variants Maybach S500 and S600 in India. The cars have been priced for Rs. 1.67 crore and Rs. 2.6 crore respectively. This launch marks the introduction of Mercedes new brand Mercedes Maybach collection in the country. One will be produced itself in India and the other would be here via CBU route. Mercedes Benz Chief Managing Director said” With this launch we are introducing the current range of S- class models in India, to set a bench mark in its presence topmost car section”.

Mercedes Executive Director said that with this launch they would ve providing high competence, and world class products to their customers. Accordingly its design it gets an extended wheelbase rear seats just beyond the door cutout, The Maybach logo will be a double M inside a triangle. Adding to its exclusive feature the Rear seat belt bag will be a must in India. It is a belt bag that will be having a inflatable seat belt strap that will reduce the load exerted in the ribcage, and thus reducing the risk of injury. This arrangement will place the passengers away from the window. The cabin features  a front center armrest with a analogue clock and IWC design, having an optional 2*2 seat with fold able table.
