It has been claimed to be the first buck boosted charger battery that will be supporting the two way power delivery thus using a reversible USB C type. This connector is a ISL9237 VDC battery charger that can be readily replaced by a buck boost chip charger solutions.

 It uses the Intensil R3 modulation technique that provides it the buckmode and boost mode as well thus charging the Li ion batteries  that can have upto 3 cells in it. It will be also supporting teh USB OTG through a5V reverse buck feature present in it. It also accepts the input range of 3Vand  Output from the device ranges from 2.4V to 13.824V and, by operating at up to 1MHz, smaller inductors can be specified.
