Transmitter architecture suits RF CMOS SoCs

Analogue transmitters are very less suitable and appropriate for the integration work in the advance CMOS nodes and on the other side digital transmitters falls really short when they are required in the high end devices parameters such as out of band noise and the emission. Thus a research was made in Belgian nano electronic research center imec that is typically claiming to create and overcome these parameter issues as they have created an architecture that combines with both the worlds neatly.
According to teh study they have shown a 0.22mm2 CMOS resistive charge that is based directly on launch digital transmitter with an out of band noise of -159dBc/Hz it will be surely paving the way for the cellular standards. Charge based conversion will also allow to lower the noise .
