DC/DC converters with high output voltages.
Regulated DC/DC converters of the HRC series fromXP Powerare now available in our catalogue. It provides a high output voltage of up to 6 kV (with current output of up to 1.25 mA for selected models). Negative and positive output voltage versions are available.
The converters feature smooth, linear adjustment of the output voltage (in the full range from 0% of the maximum value), as well as short-circuit and overload protection. Their additional advantage is high stability (ripple below 0.01%) and wide operating temperature (from -40°C to 70°C). The input voltage for all models is 24 V DC (22 to 30 V is tolerated). The outputs for monitoring the output voltage and current are an additional advantage.

Furthermore, due to the high integration of components, they can use a single external resistor. Converters have internal reference voltage sources on dedicated outputs – used for making settings and as a reference for voltage and current monitoring. Case dimensions of the HRC converters (in mm): 64.8 x 33.0 x 15.2 (not including the leads for through-hole mounting, THT). The HRC series converters are compliant with the UL62368 and UL61010 standards..
They are used in measuring and analytical equipment, in spectrometry, electrophoresis, and electron microscopy – they are also used in detectors and capacitor charging systems.
