As a sign of appreciation for the exceptional work done by its staff over the last twelve months, Harwin has once again given its highly coveted Sales Excellence Award to longstanding channel partner Avnet Abacus.
The Harwin management team’s reasoning for this decision was based on several core elements. Among these were Avnet Abacus’ sustained ability to push the customer count in the EMEA region upwards, and in particular the number of new customers that it has secured in key sectors like industrial, defence, robotics and aerospace. In addition, the distributor has proved very successful in supporting the full breadth of ever-expanding Harwin’s product portfolio – from high-reliability connectors, like Gecko and Datamate, through to EMI shielding.
According to Harwin’s Managing Director, Andrew McQuilken, “Once again Avnet Abacus has really impressed us with the effort its team have put in and the results they have consistently gained. After receiving this award back in 2018, it has continued to build. Its sales and engineering staff have pushed hard to achieve even more. They have shown themselves to be of vital importance to Harwin’s continued EMEA sales revenue growth, helping to make their customer base more aware of our technology and enabling to us gain traction across the whole of this region.”
