FPGA solution to VME component obsolescence

It has already been 35 years since the standard of the VME systems were set in action but it still remains untouched. As the problems that is surrounding it is that many of the components that comes underpinned in the VME are now obsolete and not readily available in the production line. Thus to overcome it a solution has been deduced that is the  IDT’s TSI148 VMEbus bridge, that will be linking the  VME systems to PCI Express processors and peripherals.

According to the company’s official he stated that many of their customers are taking investment in VME systems that are more complex than usual and deploys in critical environment  so they want to make a tradition solution for the same to reassure tat they will be able to us it and create and maintain the VME based systems for the future itself.
